Pflugerville City Council Schedules Hearing On 2017-18 Proposed Budget
The hearing is scheduled Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. in city council chambers located at 100 E. Main St.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — City council will stage a public hearing on the fiscal year 2017-18 proposed budget on Sept. 26.
The hearing will take place Tuesday, Sept. 26, at 7 p.m. in City Hall located at 100 E. Main St., Suite 500. City officials said this budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by $2,952,616 (12.4%), and of that amount $1,083,190 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.

- Fund: General Fund Expenses: $34,591,581
- Fund: Utility Fund Expenses: $61,630,431
- Fund: Debt Service Expenses: $11,487,680
- Fund: Capital Projects Expenses: $28,750,065
The proposed budget for the fiscal year of October 1, 2017 – September 30, 2018 includes a property tax rate of $0.5399 per $100 of taxable value –which equals the fiscal year 2017 rate.
The proposed budget and budget message are available for public inspection at:
- Pflugerville City Hall, 100 East Main Street, Suite 300, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.;
- The City of Pflugerville Public Library, 1008 West Pfluger Street, during regular Library hours; and
- The City of Pflugerville website: www.pflugervilletx.gov/finance.
