Pflugerville City Manager Attains Top Role In Trade Group

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Pflugerville City Manager Sereniah Breland will serve an upcoming term as president elect of the Texas City Management Association, officials said on Wednesday.

Breland's term at the helm of the organization takes effect this month, according to city officials. In the role, Breland will also serve as chair of the group's Professional Development Committee. Breland previously served as vice president from April 2019-2020, and held a two-year-term as director-at-large from 2017-2019. Breland is a trainer in the required TCMA Ethics Course for fellow members and has previously served as chair of the membership committee and on the professional development committee, which she will now chair as president elect, according to a city advisory.
