Pflugerville City Manager Tapped To Key Post
Sereniah Breland to serve as vice president of the Texas City Management Association beginning in late June.
PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Texas City Management Association officials announced that Pflugerville City Manager Sereniah Breland will serve an upcoming term as vice president of the organization starting in late June.
Breland's stint as TCMA vice president will start at the end of the TCMA annual conference scheduled from June 27-30, 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas.
In the April TCMA election, Breland was elected by her peers to represent them on the TCMA Board of Directors. TCMA is an organization of local government professionals dedicated to promoting the highest standards of governance, service, leadership, ethics, and education while embracing individual and regional diversity for the benefit of our membership and the cities of Texas.

TCMA is described as a member-driven, ethical and inclusive organization committed to the council-manager form of government; dedicated to effective partnerships with elected officials; devoted to the professionalism of our organization and members; determined to provide quality service to our membership and its represented cities (www.tcma.org). The organization has more than 1,000 members.
Currently, Breland is completing a two year term as the elected director-at-large for the organization. Breland also is a trainer for the required TCMA Ethics Course for fellow members and has served previously on the Membership Committee and Professional Development Committee. In her role as vice president, she will be the chair of the Membership Committee and perform special projects as requested by the TCMA president.
