Pflugerville Hawaiian Falls Offering Free Admission For Military Members
To say thanks for their service, military members get in free Memorial Day weekend and their families' entry will be discounted.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX -- Military personnel will be allowed free admission into Hawaiian Falls Waterparks for Memorial Day weekend, officials announced Wednesday.
From this Saturday (May 28) to through Monday (May 30), all military personnel will be able to get into the amusement park for free. Their immediate family members can purchase day passes at a discounted price of $24.99, officials added.
Hawaiian Falls CEO Clint Hill said the move was their way of honoring military members' service.

“We’re grateful for the brave service members who willingly give up their freedoms to protect ours,” Hill said in a prepared statement. “Because of their sacrifices, we can enjoy a fun, carefree summer with family and friends."
Hill noted park officials won't make a big thing of it by casting a spotlight on incoming military members. Instead, they will be able to simply walk into the park with their compliments.

"We’re not going to bore them with long speeches or embarrass them by singling them out," Hill said. "We’re just happy to provide them a day to relax and have fun at our water parks.”
To participate, individuals must present a valid military ID at the ticket window. This free admission applies to one individual admission for a military member on Saturday, May 28; Sunday, May 29; or Monday, May 30, 2016, and cannot be combined with any other offers, officials said.
The free admission offer is applicable to all six Hawaiian Falls parks. In addition to Pflugerville, there are park locations in Waco, Garland, The Colony, Mansfield and Roanoke. Park hours are 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Park officials note that season passholders are always allowed into the park 30 minutes before the gates open to the public. For more information, visit the Hawaiian Falls website by clicking here or check out their Facebook page by clicking here.
