Pflugerville High School Band Participates In Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (VIDEO)
They were one of just six high school bands in the country invited to participate in the famous New York City annual tradition.
PFLUGERVILLE, TX — The Hendrickson High School band marched in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade on Thursday, one of a few high school bands from across the country chosen to participate.
Band members flew out on Sunday to spend the day in New York City to be a part of the famous annual parade. Only six high school bands from across the country were chosen for the honor to participate in the parade.
During their stay, band members were expected to take in the sights and meet some Broadway performers. District officials were, naturally, excited at the development and posted parade footage starring band members playing the song "Joy Ride."
