Pflugerville Library Schedules 'Maker Pfest'

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — The Pflugerville Public Library has scheduled its fourth annual Maker Pfest this coming Saturday.

The festival runs from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on June 9. Among the planned activities are those related to circuitry, hand sewing, robotics, virtual reality and more. Also scheduled are hands-on demonstrations and crafts, including screen printing, stop-motion animation and 3-D printing.

The festival is the official kick-off for the library's annual summer reading program that takes place from June 9 through July 8.

"We welcome makers, artists and crafters of all types to demonstrate their talents," library officials wrote on their website. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, click here.
