Pflugerville Man Accused Of Injuring 2-Year-Old Son Who Later Died
Raymundo Silvas-Salas, 23, is behind bars under a $250,000 bail, according to Travis County Jail records.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — A man is jailed after being accused of inflicting injuries on his toddler son that led the boy's death last week, according to media reports.
Raymundo Silva-Salas, 23, was arrested for injury to a child with a bail set at $250,000, according to Travis County Jail records. On May 24, emergency crews were called to a home along the 15000 block of Hyson Crossing after a child was reported as not breathing. The boy, two-year-old Logan Silva, was transported to the hospital but died the next day.
Medics told police the boy suffered a subdural hematoma, an injury consistent with being violently shaken. The boy also had visible bruises to both sides of his abdomen, further tell-tale signs inconsistent with an accidental injuries.

According to jail records, Silva-Salas, a native of Mexico who lives in Pflugerville, is also subject to a detainer request from federal immigration officials.
