Pflugerville Man Arrested For Possession Of Child Pornography
Kenneth Ray Ward, 54, is charged with a third-degree felony and faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — The Texas attorney general on Wednesday announced the arrest of a Pflugerville man on two counts of possession of child pornography.
Kenneth Ray Ward, 54, is charged with a third-degree felony in connection to the charges, and could face up to ten years in prison if convicted. In a news release, Attorney General Ken Paxton said the arrest was the culmination of investigative work by his office's Child Exploitation Unit, which launced its probe after receiving a CypterTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children indicating Ward uploaded child pornography to a cloud storage account.
A subsequent search of Ward's home yielded images of child pornography on his tablet computer. Investigators also seized a desktop computer and smartphone, both of which are being examined by teh AG's Digital Forensics Unit, Paxton said.
