Pflugerville Police Department Plans Community Open House
Event scheduled Saturday, Sept. 16, will give attendees a glimpse into a day in the life of a police officer.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — The Pflugerville Police Department will stage an open house this weekend, inviting the public to glimpse into a day in the life of an officer.
Attendees will be able to tour the police department while meeting staff and volunteers who work around the clock to keep Pflugerville safe. The public will have the opportunity to view equipment, learn about crime prevention and upcoming events, and meet Chief Jessica Robledo and her leadership team.
K-9 demonstrations are scheduled throughout the event, and a fingerprinting station will be open for child ID kits. Other activities include face painting and a jump house for children. Firefighters will also be on site with a fire truck, and Travis County Sheriff’s Department will provide crime prevention information from the county’s regional programs.

The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16 at the Pflugerville Justice Center located at 1611 E. Pfennig Lane. For more information, please call 512-990-6838.
