Pflugerville Police Department's 911 Service Went Down For Several Hours
City officials attribute service interruption to 'computer glitch,' but assure no delay in response time occurred due to calls re-routing.

Pflugerville, TX -- The Pflugerville Police Department's 911 phone service went down entirely on Friday morning, forcing a re-routing of emergency calls to Travis County Sheriff's Office dispatchers, city officials confirmed.
"This morning at 3:12 a.m., Pflugerville PD lost 911 phones services due to computer equipment failure," city officials wrote in an advisory to residents on their municipal website. "AT&T was immediately notified through a monitoring service that catches these 'technical glitches.' "
Before updating on when the lines were fixed, officials assured a fix.
