Pflugerville Police Descend On Home Depot In Search For Assault Suspect
More than a dozen officers rushed to the store as a police helicopter hovered above as they searched in vain for suspect.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Police descended in force at a Home Depot store where an assault suspect fled on Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
Police received a report of a disturbance at a home in the 1200 block of Canna Lily Lane just before noon, learning a man allegedly had assaulted a woman there before driving off. The suspect is said to have driven to the Home Depot store at Stone Hill Town Center, prompting more than a dozen officers to descend on the place in search for the suspect, officials explained via Facebook.
The search proved futile, as the suspect apparently left the store on foot, according to the police account. Police currently are following up on leads, officials added. A police helicopter also was dispatched to aid in the search for the suspect, police noted.
