Pflugerville Police Help Execute Arrest Of Suspect Wanted On Various Drug Charges

Danny Johnson, Jr., tried to evade arrest by jumping out of a second-story window, but his flight from police was unsuccessful.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Pflugerville police on Tuesday helped execute the arrest of a man wanted on various narcotics charges, officials said.

On March 21 at about 1 p.m., local police aided by Austin Police Department offices apprehended Danny Johnson, Jr., 30, on a number of narcotics warrants:

  • Felony Possession of Marijuana.
  • Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1.
  • Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 4.
  • Misdemeanor Possession of Dangerous Drug.

Officers of the Pflugerville Police Department were able to locate Johnson at an Austin motel, officials said. He was taken into custody after attempting to flee by jumping from a second-story window, police added, prompting treatment by EMS medics before being being taken to Travis County Central Booking without further incident.
