Pflugerville Police Investigate City's First Homicide Of The Year

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Police are investigation the city's first murder of 2017 after what began as a report for shots fired early Wednesday morning.

Police on May 10 were called to the 15800 block of Foothill Farms Loop at about 5 a.m. after being alerted to shots being fired at the location. Upon arrival, police were pointed to the direction of a victim in a parking lot who was then rushed to St. David's Round Rock Medical Center, where he later died.

The victim was described as a Hispanic male in his early 20s, and his identity was to be released once his family was notified of the death.
