Narcotics Found At Pflugerville Shooting Scene (Updated)
Police now say nobody was injured by gunfire along 800 block of Cactus Bend Drive on Saturday evening, but drugs were found at the scene.
PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Police on Monday provided an update on a local shooting, saying no one was hurt in the weekend incident that appears to be related to narcotics.
Police responded to the 800 block of Cactus Bend Drive on Saturday evening amid reports of shots fired. It was originally reported a man had sustained injuries as a result, but police on Monday amended that to say the person was not struck by a bullet after all.
"Pflugerville Police discovered narcotics on scene and found that the victim was not struck by the bullet," police said in the update. Law enforcement officials added narcotics were found at the scene.

There is no threat to the public at large given that it appears the two people involved knew each other, yielding an isolated incident. Police continue to investigate, and a suspect has not yet been identified.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Police continue to investigate a shooting that left a man with minor injuries on Saturday evening.
The incident occurred at around 8:45 p.m. along the 800 block of Cactus Bend Drive, where police found a male victim who said he had been shot by an unknown suspect before fleeing the scene. The man who was shot was transported to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said in a statement.
"The investigation is ongoing, but this is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to the general public at this time," police wrote.
