Pflugerville Police Launch Online Portal For Reporting Crimes

New portal enables residents to file police reports through specially designed portal, from custody order violations to vehicle burglaries.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — The police department has launched a new online reporting system for reporting certain crimes, officials said Thursday.

The portal is designed to enable residents to file police reports online for specific types of non-emergency crime incidents, including:

  • Custody order violation.
  • Harassing phone call.
  • Harassment online.
  • Identity theft/fraud.
  • Lost property.
  • Theft.
  • Theft of identification.
  • Vehicle burglary.

Powered by Lexis Nexis, the system now is available at www.pflugervilletx.gov/police, officials said.

“This is one of many recent efforts we’ve made at the Pflugerville Police Department to make the police department more accessible for those we serve,” Pflugerville Police Chief Jessica Robledo said in a prepared statement. “This service will help us keep more officers available to respond to calls instead of at the station filing reports and allow residents to submit reports quickly, online.”

Individuals filing a report through the website will receive a report case number and be able to print a draft of the report after it's been submitted, the chief added. Of course, residents can go old school in reporting crimes via calling 911 in an emergency or calling police at (512) 990-6700 for non-emergencies. The implementation of the online reporting system does not supplant those more traditional methods of reporting crimes.
