Pflugerville Police Respond To Shot Fired, Find Older Man Dead Inside Home

Police were alerted to disturbance, shot fired along the 100 block of Ambrose Drive near Settlers Valley Drive.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Police responded to a call of a disturbance and shot fired on Wednesday evening, only to find a dead older man inside the home once they gained entry.

The call alerting police to the disturbance came in just before 9 p.m. on March 15. The Pflugerville Police Department secured the perimeter of the scene along the 100 block of Ambrose Dive near Settlers Valley Drive while the Williamson County Sheriff's Office provided back-up assistance.

Upon entering the home, police found the older man dead inside. In a news release, police said the medical examiner was notified, but the cause of death won't be released.
