PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Police late Friday said they were looking for an alleged suspect as residents witnessed a large law enforcement presence — complete with helicopters searching from an aerial view.

Police didn't disclose what the man was being sought for, but said anyone seeing him should call 911.
Just before the police texts were issued, residents took to Facebook neighborhood pages seeking information from their neighbors. "WTH is happening in Pflugerville with cops and helicopter?" one resident posted in the page dubbed "Pflugerville Peeps." By around 10 p.m., one resident added a comment to the thread reporting he helicopters had retreated. "We called PD and they said they couldn't tell us anything," the person wrote.
It's unclear, however, if the activity reported by residents is related to the police report, although the two occurred concurrently. Patch reached out to the police department, and will update this story if more details are provided.
