Pflugerville Police Seek Suspected Flip Flip Thief (Video)

Woman on video seen betraying spirit of message on shirt — love, love, love, love — and instead swiping 28 pairs of Nike footwear.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Police are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect accused of stealing 28 pairs of Nike flip flops from a local store.

Surveillance camera footage shows the suspect stuffing 28 pairs of the footwear into her purse and a plastic bag before leaving the store without paying for the items. The incident occurred at the Rack Room Shoes store, 18,700 Limestone Commercial Dr., near the State Highway 130/State Highway 45 interchange on Oct. 3.

Donning a black shirt incongruously emblazoned with the words "LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE" in large white lettering, the woman is seen walking into the store, going through several boxes of flip flops and putting the ill-gotten gains in her handheld receptacles.
