PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Police are seeking help from the public in identifying a person accused of stealing a bag, several forms of ID and personal checks from a vehicle in March.
The suspect was later seen in surveillance camera footage trying to cash a stolen check at a Wells Fargo Bank branch in Pearland on March 28 — ten days after the reported theft — and at a pair of Capital Credit Union locations on April 9, police said in a press advisory.
The gender of the suspect is unknown. It could be a woman, but it also might be a man wearing a wig. The suspect was driving a silver GMC Acadia. Police released surveillance camera still images of the suspect and the vehicle he or she was driving when attempting to cash the ill-gotten checks.
