Pflugerville Police To Stage 2nd Annual Public Safety Day

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — The Pflugerville Police Department will stage its second annual Public Safety Day on Saturday, Sept. 14, officials announced on Wednesday.

The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pfield, 1440 W. Pecan Street.

Public Safety Day is an opportunity for the Pflugerville community to participate in the bike rodeo, learn more about Pflugerville Police Department programs, meet officers and K-9s and pick up resources from regional law enforcement agencies, officials explained. The bike rodeo is an opportunity for children to learn important bike safety, city officials added.

"To participate, just bring a helmet and bike," organizers wrote in an email. "There will be bikes available to borrow, first come, first served."
