Pflugerville Recycle Center Set To Reopen

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — The city's recycle center is scheduled to reopen on Friday, officials said.

The City of Pflugerville Recycle Center, 15500 Sun Light Near Way, will be opened again on April 17 to provide residents an opportunity to drop off recyclables and tree limbs, officials explained. With the current cart-only collection curbside, the opening of the Recycle Center provides an opportunity for residents who may have tree limbs following the recent storms or an abundance of recyclable items, officials added.

Due to the outbreak of coronavirus, all drop-offs will be contactless, officials said. To that end, customers need to pull up to the attendant with their window closed and display their ID to confirm Pflugerville residency.

The Recycle Center is open on Friday, Saturday and Monday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Compost and mulch is not available until further notice. For a list of items accepted visit www.pflugervilletx.gov/recyclecenter.

El Centro de Reciclaje de la Ciudad de Pflugerville, 15500 Sun Light Near Way, se abrirá nuevamente el 17 de abril para brindar a los residentes la oportunidad de dejar materiales reciclables y ramas de árboles, explicaron las autoridades.
