Pflugerville Tenants Displaced After Truck Slams Into Apartment Building
Elderly woman had just dropped off her truck for service at a dealer across the street before driving straight into complex, witnesses said.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — More than a dozen people were displaced from their home after a truck slammed into their apartment building on Monday morning, police said.
Police received a call at around 7:20 a.m. related to a pickup truck crashing into the Park Plaza Apartmentslocated just south of Interstate 35 at Rundberg, Fox 7 reported. The crash left a since-boarded-up gaping hole in the living rooms of two of the apartments, the news station reported.
The four units comprising the building were evacuated after being deemed structurally unsound in the wake of the crash, officials said. Officials at the Henna Chevrolet service department site across the street told reporters an elderly woman dropped off her truck and got a loaner from them. Unexpectedly, the woman drove through a gate straight into the apartment building.

The woman, who witnesses described as being unconscious, was hospitalized for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. It's unclear what caused the unidentified woman to crash into the building.
Local officials of the American Red Cross are assisting the displaced with lodging and related resources.
