Pflugerville Woman Busted At U.S.-Mexico Border With 26 Pounds Of Meth
The unidentified Pflugerville woman was found with the drugs on Sunday at the Juarez-Lincoln International Bridge in Laredo, Texas.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — A Pflugerville woman was arrested at the U.S.-Mexico border over the weekend after being caught with 26 pounds of crystal methamphetamine with a street value of more than $518,000.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers on Tuesday said the drugs were intercepted at the Laredo, Texas, checkpoint on Sunday, Sept. 17. The seizure occurred at the Juarez-Lincoln International Bridge when a CBP officer referred a 2014 Dodge Journey driven by a 29-year-old Plfugerville woman for a secondary examination.
Upon a canine and physical inspection of the vehicle, CBP officers discovered 33 packages allegedly containing 26 pounds of alleged crystal methamphetamine with a street value of $518,521. CBP officers seized the narcotics and vehicle.

“This seizure was an excellent interception made by our CBP officers,” Port Director Gregory Alvarez, Laredo Port of Entry, said in a prepared statement. “I congratulate the officers for demonstrating the highest standard of vigilance by disrupting the flow of illicit narcotics into our country.”
The driver was arrested and the case was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement-Homeland Security Investigations (ICE-HSI) special agents for further investigation, officials said. The identity of the Pflugerville woman was not disclosed.
