Pflugerville Woman Charged With Aiming Gun At Estranged Husband

Erin Jones, 27, has been charged with aggravated assault after she told police she was angered when soon-to-be ex husband came to her house.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — A woman in Pflugerville was charged with pulling a gun on her estranged husband as he arrived at her home to retrieve his personal items over the weekend, according to an arrest affidavit.

The man arrived at the woman's home on Saturday afternoon accompanied by a friend to secure personal effects as the couple is in the midst of a divorce, CBS Austin reported. Erin Jones, 27, asked her estranged husband to discuss aspects of their relationship before being rebuffed by the estranged husband.

His refusal to enter into a dialogue upset the Jones, who reportedly confessed to police of training a gun at the man while telling him to "get the f*** out," according to the report. The woman later told police he hadn't heard from the man for at least 24 hours until he entered her home in loud and rude manner while demanding his stuff, according to an affidavit referenced by the news station.

The man is said to have left the house but not before calling police to report on his soon-to-be-ex wife. Jones was subsequently charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon-family violence.
