Police Arrest Suspect In Early-Morning Stabbing In North Austin [UPDATED]
Sai Sandeep Goud Kurremula, 27, has been booked into Travis County Jail on a charge of murder.

UPDATE: On Tuesday, police revealed the name of the victim, Sankirth Gundam, 24.
North Austin, TX -- Police have identified a homicide suspect stemming from an early-morning Monday incident when officers arrived to see two men trying to load the male victim into a car.
Police responded to the 6200 block of McNeil Drive just after 3 a.m. on July 18. Upon arrival at the Colonial Village at Quarry Oaks apartment complex, officers encountered two men attempting to load the injured man into a car.

The victim had been stabbed in the abdomen, police said. Austin-Travis County EMS medics transported the unidentified victim to Round Rock Hospital, where he later died.
Police subsequently identified Sai Sandeep Goud Kurremula, 27, as the suspect. He has since been booked into the Travis County Jail on a charge of murder, police confirmed.
