Police Ask Public's Help In Identifying Two Suspects Who Held Up North Austin Subway Shop [VIDEO]

A surveillance video has been released with the hopes that someone might recognize two men who fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX -- Police seek the public's assistance in identifying the suspects involved in a recent aggravated robbery of a sandwich shop on the city's north side.

Police said the incident occurred Aug. 29 at around 9 p.m. That's when two men entered the Subway restaurant at 1030 Norwood Place Blvd., loitered inside the eatery briefly and then approached the register while one of them brandished a handgun.

The suspects then fled with an undisclosed amount of money, police said. Police have since released a surveillance video from the store in the hopes someone might recognize the suspects and alert police.

One of the suspects is described as a black male between the ages of 18 to 25 standing 5' 10" to 6' tall with a thin to medium build. He was last seen wearing a dark baseball cap with a light colored emblem, a plain, dark-colored t-shirt, dark-colored jeans and dark-colored shoes.

The second suspect is described as a black male 18-25 years old, approximately 5’7”-5’9” tall with a thin to medium build, and was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap with a light colored emblem, plain blue or gray t-shirt, dark colored jeans and dark colored shoes with white soles.
