Police ID Pedestrian Killed In North Austin After Being Hit By Car
Sterlin Adreon Milam, 38, was struck and killed while on the roadway along the 6600 block of McNeil Drive last week.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Police on Friday identified the pedestrian killed after being struck by a car in North Austin last week.
Sterlin Adreon Milam, 38, was standing in the roadway when he was struck by a Dodge Ram traveling westbound along the outside lane of 6600 block of McNeil Drive about ten minutes before 6 a.m. The pedestrian died at the scene, while the motorist stopped to wait for police to arrive.

This incident marked Austin’s 46th fatal traffic crash and the 48th fatality of 2017, police noted. At this time in 2016, there were 47 fatal traffic crashes and 47 traffic fatalities, officials added.
