Police ID Teen Shot Dead Last Sunday, Left On Side Of Road In North Austin
Kenneth Johnson, 19, was found suffering multiple gunshot wounds along the 7400 block of Geneva Drive.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Police on Thursday identified the teenage victim of a homicide that took place last Sunday.
Kenneth Johnson, 19, was found lying on the side of the road along the 7400 block of Geneva Drive on Nov. 6 just before 9 p.m., with multiple gunshot wounds. Police believe the victim was dropped off at the site after being shot elsewhere.
Medics with Austin-Travis County EMS attempted life-saving measures, but Johnson was pronounced dead at 9:05 p.m. A subsequent autopsy by the Travis County Medical Examiner's Office revealed his cause of death was the result of homicide.

Police have yet to make an arrest in the case. They ask for anyone with information to call them via the Homicide Tip Line at 512-477-3588 or Crime Stoppers at 512-472-TIPS. Those with information also can text "Tip 103" followed by a message CRIMES. Tipsters also can submit information by downloading APD’s mobile app, Austin PD, for free on iPhone and Android.
