Police ID Two Men Who Died In Head-On Collision

NORTH AUSTIN-PFLUGERVILLE, TX -- Police have identified the two men killed in a head-on collision Monday afternoon in Northwest Austin between a car and a motorcycle.

Timothy Anthony McCabe, 51, of Round Rock died from the impact. Police said he was exiting a parking lot onto the eastbound lanes of West Howard Lane when he turned in front of a motorcycle traveling westbound that was being driven by Kyle Anthony Frisbie, 24, of Austin.

Frisbie was unable to avoid colliding with McCabe’s Nissan Altima, hitting the driver’s side of the car.

Both men died at the scene.

The crash occurred shortly before 4 p.m. in the 4800 block of West Howard Lane. KVUE-TV reported that a bystander who attempted to assist McCabe also was injured but refused treatment.
