Police Investigate Death Of Man In North Austin Wooded Area As Homicide [Video]
A groundskeeper came upon the body at Howard Lane and Metric Boulevard Friday afternoon before police were called.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — The body of a man found outdoors in North Austin Friday is being investigated as a homicide, police said.
A groundskeeper came upon the body in a wooded area near the intersection of Howard Lane and Metric Boulevard at about 4:30 p.m. on Friday, a police spokesman said. Police immediately cordoned off the area near the busy intersection.
Police staged a news briefing on the discovery, saying there is no suspect in the case. The victim was described only as a white male. Police urged anyone with information on the case that might prove useful to their investigation to call the Homicide Tip Line at 512-477-3588.
