Police Make Arrest In Store Robbery Near UT-Austin
Unidentified suspect charged with aggravated robbery after being quickly detained following 7-Eleven store robbery on Guadalupe Street.
NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Police made an arrest in connection with an aggravated robbery at a 7-Eleven convenience store near the University of Texas at Austin campus, according to reports.
Police told the Austin American-Statesman a suspect was arrested in connection to the robbery that occurred just past 8:40 p.m. on Saturday in the store located at 1814 Guadalupe St.. The suspect who is not a UT-Austin student was quickly detained, according to the report.
The identity of the suspect has not been released.
