Police Seek North Austin Aggravated Robbery Suspect

Man demanded property of victim before shooting him and fleeing on foot when his demands weren't met, police said.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Police seek help from the public in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an aggravated robbery in North Austin this past August.

The incident dates to Aug. 23 when the suspect demanded property from a victim at the Northgate Hills Apartments, 9024 Northgate Blvd. just before 10:15 p.m. Police said the victim was shot after refusing to comply with the demands made by the suspect, who fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 22-24 standing five feet, ten inches, tall with a thin build. He has short, black hair and a clean-shaven face. The unknown suspect was last seen wearing a gray T-Shirt and blue jeans.

Police released a composite sketch of the suspect in the hopes someone might recognize him and alert police.
