Police Seek North Austin Aggravated Robbery Suspect (Video)
Surveillance camera images and video was released showing suspect accused of threatening victim with knife at Cap Metro rail station.
AUSTIN, TEXAS — Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect in an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon that occurred earlier this month at a North Austin rail station.
The Nov. 16 incident at the Capital Metro Highland Station on 6400 Airport Blvd. occurred at 7:35 a.m., according to a police press advisory. The unknown suspect is accused of threatening the victim with a knife during the incident, police said.
Law enforcement officials released surveillance camera images and video in hopes that someone might recognize him and alert officials as to his identity and/or whereabouts. Anyone with information is asked to call the Region 1 detectives at 512-974-5320. Those with tips also can submit them by downloading APD’s mobile app, Austin PD, for free on iPhone and Android.
