Police Seek North Austin Robbery Suspect
Wells Fargo Bank branch inside a Fiesta Mart at 3909 N. Interstate 35 was robbed on July 10 by a man who then fled on foot.
AUSTIN, TX — Police continue to search for a bank robbery suspect related to an incident that occurred on Wednesday.
Just before 1 p.m. on July 10, the Wells Fargo Bank branch inside a Fiesta Mart at 3909 N. Interstate 35 was robbed, police said in a press advisory. The suspect is said to have entered the bank before displaying a note to the teller and then fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police said the suspect was last seen running towards 38 1/2 Street. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident. Police released surveillance camera images of the suspect in the hopes someone might recognize him and alert as to his whereabouts.

The suspect is described as a black man standing five feet, nine inches tall of thin build weighing some 150 pounds. He in either in his 20s or 30s, police said, and was last seen wearing a baseball cap, black shirt and blue jeans.
