Police Seek Public's Help Finding North Austin Bank Robber
Unidentified man displayed handgun upon entering BB&T Bank at 6929 Airport Blvd. before fleeing with undisclosed amount of cash.
NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a bank robber from a heist that occurred over the weekend in North Austin.
The robbery at the BB&T Bank, 6929 Airport Blvd. too place on Saturday, April 7, at around 12:30 p.m. The suspect displayed a handgun while demanding cash before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
The suspect is described as a black male standing at around five feet, eight inches tall of average build and weighing about 160 pounds. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black shoes, white knitted mask and white gloves.

Police released surveillance camera images of the suspect in the hopes somebody might recognize him and alert police (see above).
