Police Seek Suspect In Double Slaying Near Lake Travis

Randall Lee Burrows, 54, is sought by police in fatal shootings that may have been prompted after a business dispute.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Police identified the suspect and victims in a double slaying that occurred on Wednesday evening.

The Travis County Sheriff's Office said they are searching for Randall Lee Burrows, 54, in connection to the incident. Burrows, from Lakeway, is the suspect in the killings of Richard Dale Guthrie, 60, and Susan Gulla-O'Leary, 60, both of Austin. Police responded to a report of shots fired at 2014 Whitehead Trail at 7:40 p.m. on March 15.

Police said a third victim shot is hospitalized.

Burrows is described as standing 5 feet, nine inches tall and weighing 195 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes. The suspect was last seen driving a 2011 white Ford Escape with license plates numbers FVX 4037. The vehicle looks like the one in the image below:

Police believe a business dispute led to the shootings. Anyone who sees Burrows or knows of his whereabouts is urged to notify authorities by immediately calling 911.
