Police Seek Suspect In North Austin Credit Union Robbery
For the second time in as many days on Saturday, an Austin Telco Credit Union has been robbed after earlier heist in Cedar Park.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Police are searching for a suspect they say robbed a North Austin credit union Saturday afternoon.
According to a preliminary police investigation, a man entered an Austin Telco Credit Union branch located at 13831 N. U.S. 183 around 1 p.m. before demanding cash from a teller. The incident occurred just before the branch was about to close for the day, according to police. The suspect didn't display a weapon in the heist, police added.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, standing about six feet, six inches tall of thin build and sporting a thin mustache, police said. He was last seen wearing a dark brown jacket with a maroon undershirt, blue jeans and gray, white-trimmed Vans-type sneakers.

This is the second time in as many days that an Austin Telco Credit Union has been targeted in a robbery. On Thursday, four men assaulted an ATM maintenance worker outside the Cedar Park branch before fleeing with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.

It's unclear whether the two robberies are related.

APD is on scene of a Bank Robbery at the Austin Telco Credit Union at 13831 N US 183. PIO is enroute and will advise shortly of the interview time.
