Police Seek Suspects In North Austin Jewelry Store Robbery
A pair of armed men threatened Iris Jewelry employees on Sunday, Oct. 13, before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of jewels.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Police seek help from the public in identifying a pair of suspects wanted in connection to an armed robbery of a North Austin Jewelry store this week.
The 6:25 p.m. incident occurred on Sunday, Oct. 13, at the Iris Jewelry store, 9414 Parkfield Dr. The suspects are said to have made threats to the store employees while armed with a rifle and pistol before fleeing in a gray 2014 Jeep Patriot with an undisclosed amount of jewelry.
The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his mid-20s standing at five feet, nine inches, tall and weighing 160 pounds. He has short black hair and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a tiger head logo on the left sleeve; a black baseball cap with “Live free Custom” in white lettering; black pants; and white sneakers. He has a tattoo on the top of his right hand that appears to be a depiction of hand bones, and another tattoo on the top of his other hand with the number 214.

Police described the second suspect as a Hispanic male in his late 20s to 30s standing at five feet, nine inches, and weighing some 200 pounds. He has long black hair he wore in a ponytail and a goatee. He also sported a ring on the right hand index finger. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie; black baseball cap with white lettering on the left side; light-colored blue jeans; and brown shoes with white soles. He also had a black backpack emblazoned with the words “Made for more general motors” in white lettering.

Police released surveillance camera images of the suspects and closeup shots of their tattoos hoping someone might recognize them and alert police as to their whereabouts.
