Police Seek Two Suspects In North Austin Fatal Shooting
Once 'persons of interest,' Karl Stokes, 20, and Marvin Jermaine Flint, 21, are now suspects in shooting death of Michael Blaylock, 26.
AUSTIN, TX — Police on Tuesday said two people they previously labeled as persons of interest in a North Austin fatal shooting are now full-fledged suspects in the murder.
The two men, Karl Stokes, 20, and Marvin Jermaine Flint, 21, are currently being sought by police. They are wanted in connection to the shooting death of Michael Blaylock, 26, who died at an apartment complex in the 300 block of Carmen Court on March 27 after being shot.
Reports of gunfire came into the police dispatch unit just before 10 p.m. on the night of the shooting. Blaylock succumbed to his injuries after being admitted into University Medical Center Brackenridge.

Police released photos of the two suspects in the hopes someone might recognize them and alert them as to their whereabouts. Stokes is wanted on a murder charge with a bond set at $150,000, but police said an arrest warrant for Flint had yet to be formally issued as of late Tuesday. In a previously issued advisory, police said Flint was wanted on a felony warrant for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, a 3rd degree felony.
