Police Seeking Black Friday Robbers, Asking Public to Help ID

Four suspects in their mid-teens to early 20s robbed a Radio Shack on Black Friday, according to police.


Austin Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify four suspects from an armed robbery on Black Friday.

The suspects entered the Radio Shack on the 9300 block of North Lamar Boulevard at at around 6:45 p.m., forcing everyone inside on the ground, police said. The suspects then robbed both the business and the customers of the store, later fleeing with cash and cellphones, police said.

Police have released surveillance video of the robbery, which you can see above, that shows what the four suspects were wearing at the time of the robbery.

The police ask anyone with information about these suspects to call the robbery tip line at (512) 974-5092.
