Police SWAT Team Responds To Reports Of Barricaded Person In Northwest Austin
One of the people involved was described as suicidal with access to weapons, according to police.
NORTH AUSTIN, TX -- A police SWAT team was dispatched to a home in Northwest Austin in response to a barricaded person call.
The incident occurred just before 7 p.m. in the 7500 block of Fireoak Drive, police told the Austin American-Statesman. Police said one of the people involved in the standoff was likely suicidal with possible access to weapons.
Police were there for a fair amount of time, but as of early Monday morning haven't released details on the incident. Once more information is known, Patch will pass along more details.
