Rainy Weather Expected Tuesday Throughout Central Texas
The area will have a 90 percent chance of thunderstorms, and forecasters say some of them could be severe.

You might keep the umbrella handy on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning and take cover, with a line of storms expected to descend upon Central Texas that could be accompanied by large hail and heavy rain, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters say residents should expect showers and thunderstorms mainly after 1 a.m. on Tuesday. Some of these storms could be severe. The low temperature should be at 67 degrees with a south-southeast wind of 10 to 15 miles per hour. Wind gusts could reach up to 20 miles per hour, according to forecasters.
Most of the area is expected to see rain, with a chance of precipitation at 90 percent. New rainfall amounts are expected to be up to a quarter-and-a-half of an inch.

Things should calm down by Wednesday, when the chance of showers and thunderstorms reduced to 50 percent before 1 p.m. It should remain cloudy through mid-morning, then gradually clear. Temperatures will increase, with a high of up to 85 expected. A south-to-southwest wind will be a mere five to 10 miles per hour.
