Ring In the New Year at the Pfreeze Pflop

After a long night on New Year’s Eve you might wake up feeling like you need to be plunged into freezing cold water.

That option will be available should you choose to ring in the New Year at the Pflugerville Pfreeze Pflop. As early at 9:45 on Friday, January 1, brave Pflugerville residents will slide into freezing water at the Scott Mentzer Pool.

And no, the pool isn’t heated.

So whether you feel like taking a winter-time dip, or just want to watch people shiver uncomfortably after swimming in January, get to the pool. Families can go down the slide at the same time, and entrance is free with a donation of a canned food item.
