SH 45 Reopened After Police Crash Investigation
The stretch of roadway at the flyover was closed at around 10 a.m. to accommodate probe into fatal crash over the weekend.

PFLUGERVILLE, TEXAS — Police have reopened the SH 45 flyover after closing it for several hours Thursday to investigate a previous fatal crash there.
The Pflugerville Police Department closed the artery at around 10 a.m. Thursday to collect additional details and measurements related to the fatal collision that took place there over the weekend. At 2:30 p.m., police issued an alert the road had reopened while urging motorists to drive carefully.
In the early morning hours of Sunday, Oct. 7, Donald Alan Waller, 36, was killed when he was struck by a car as he tended to his broken-down vehicle on SH 45 near the SH 130 flyover. Dawn Witt Denny, 50, of Dripping Springs subsequently was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter, a second-degree felony.
