Shooting Victim Seriously Hurt In North Austin
Police were called to the 4900 block of Mueller Boulevard where they found a person with life-threatening injuries.
NORTH AUSTIN, TX — A shooting victim sustained life-threatening injuries in North Austin early Saturday, police said.
The incident occurred around 1 a.m. along the 4900 block of Mueller Boulevard where police were called for a reported shooting. Once there, police found the shooting victim seriously hurt.
The age and gender of the shooting victim is unknown, as police declined to provide further details. Initially saying a press conference would be staged to provide more information, the Austin Police Department on Twitter later said no such briefing would take place as detectives continue to investigate the scene.
