Speed Limits to Change on Two Pflugerville Roads

Some Pflugerville drivers will have to change their routine.

Speed limits on Pfenning Lane and Picadilly Drive are set to change after a City Council decision to approve two speed limit modifications on Oct. 13.

On Picadilly Drive, a 20 mph school zone was added from east of Grand Avenue Parkway to just east of Bishopsgate Drive. The speed limit will also be raised from to 30 mph to 35 mph east of Grand Avenue Parkway.

A school zone speed reduction was also approve for Pfenning Lane. The speed was also reduced to 20 mph. The roadway east of Railroad Avenue to east of Rocky Creek Drive is now 35 mph in both directions; and west of Railroad Avenue increased to 40 mph from west of Black Locust Drive to Heatherwilde Blvd.

New speed limits will go into effect as updated signs are posted.
