🌱 Stage 2 Water Restrictions + Athletic Director Takes New Role

  1. On Monday, March 1, the City of Pflugerville entered Stage 2 water restrictions "as outlined in the City's Water Drought Contingency Plan." Under this mandatory restriction, "residents are allowed to water no more than twice per week based on their home mailing address" and "watering must be done before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m." to conserve water.   2. Todd Raymond, athletic director for schools in Pflugerville, was "named executive director of athletics for the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District" on Monday, Feb. 28. Besides the athletic director position in Pflugerville, he has also held the positions of head football coach at McCallum and Lehman schools, and assistant coach at Liberty Hill and Stony Point schools. Raymond, who has been Pflugerville's athletic director since 2017, said "he is stepping out of his 'comfort zone' by taking the job in the Metroplex." (Austin American-Statesman)
