Suspect In UT-Austin Stabbing Attack Formally Indicted On Murder
Kendrex White is accused of fatally stabbing one and injuring three others outside the university gym this past May.

AUSTIN, TX — The man accused of fatally stabbing a University of Texas at Austin freshman and slashing three others in a May rampage was indicted on Monday for murder, according to reports.
Kendrex Jermaine White, 21, has been behind bars on a $1 million bond since the attack. The Travis County District Attorney's Office confirmed to media outlets that White was indicted for the murder of freshman Harrison Brown, 19, in the May 1 attack that took place outside the campus gym.
With the indictment, the grand jury concludes there is sufficient evidence to proceed with a case. Along with the murder charge, White was indicted on three charges of aggravated assault. He's expected to appear in court this Friday to face the charges.
