Police are trying to determine what caused a single-car crash that killed a teen in Northeast Austin.Police identified the teen as 17-year-old Lance Jordan Thomas in a news release.The crash occurred at about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday on the westbound frontage road of U.S. 290 near Harris Branch Parkway. Thomas was found dead on the scene, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.
