Traffic Alert: I-35 Near Wells Branch Pkwy Wreck Slows Traffic
At least two vehicles involved in crash has reduced traffic to one lane; drivers already there can expect significant delays.
NORTH AUSTIN, TEXAS — A multi-vehicle crash has prompted closure of two lanes on southbound Interstate 35 near Wells Branch Parkway in North Austin, Texas Department of Transportation officials said on Friday.
The late-morning incident involving at least two vehicles has created traffic delays in the area given that only one lane of traffic is now open to motorists. Transportation officials urge drivers to stay to the left of the wreck scene. Those already in the vicinity should expect significant delays in the aftermath of the wreck.
It's unclear if anybody was injured in the crash. Patch will update as more details are known.
